The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury

The Television & Movie Wiki: for TV, celebrities, and movies.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury is a made-for-video animated film set between the films Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick. It was directed by Peter Chung, and features Vin Diesel performing the voice of Richard B. Riddick.

Synopsis

Shortly after escaping the planet from Pitch Black, Riddick, Jack and Abu (the Imam) are picked up by a ship. They quickly discover that it's a merc ship, making Jack's remark at the end of the previous movie ironically prophetic. Although Riddick attempts to conceal his identity from the mercenaries, they quickly voice-print him and know exactly who they're dealing with.

Captured by the mercenaries, the trio of survivors rapidly discovers that their captors have unusual plans for them. The ship's owner, Antonia Chillingsworth (Tress MacNeille) is a collector of unusual "art." And in her mind, Riddick is the ultimate "masterpiece" for her collection.

Riddick, Jack, and Imam must face down and fight their way through the enormous army of human and nonhuman creatures at her disposal, or they will meet a fate far crueler than death.

Dark Fury reunites Vin Diesel with other original cast members Rhiana Griffith and Keith David from Pitch Black, and introduces a new character who will appear in The Chronicles of Riddick, Toombs (Nick Chinlund).
