Race riot
The Television & Movie Wiki: for TV, celebrities, and movies.
A race riot is an outbreak of violent civil unrest in which race is a key factor. Such riots often involve tensions between racial groups that are regarded as socio-economically deprived and law enforcement agencies who are perceived to unfairly target these racial groups. Racial profiling, police brutality, institutional racism and racial identity politics are common factors among race riots. In many cases, urban renewal has also been cited.
