Pirates of the Caribbean 3 is the second sequel to the 2003 film Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. The film is also a sequel to 2006 film Dead Man's Chest. The film is currently slated for a 2007 release date. The film is directed by Gore Verbinski, with returning stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom.

Parts of the film have been shot during the filming of Dead Man's Chest, with some principal photography in April 2005.

Title Rumour

  • The title of the film is currently unknown but the following have been rumors suggesting the title will be called World's End.
  • On December 8, 2005 another rumour went online stating the title for the film is Uncharted Waters.
