Mark Rydell (born March 23, 1934 in New York City) is an American film director and producer. His films included The Rose (1979), On Golden Pond (1981) and The River (1984). He has been married to actress Joanne Linville since 1962.
He first became known for his role as Jeff Baker on As the World Turns, which he played from 1956 to 1962.
