* For all non-sports programming, the local times for the airing of the shows are the same for cities in Pacific Time, and one hour earlier in Mountain and Central times. As sports shows are aired live nationwide, the times need to be adjusted according to timezone (i.e. one hour earlier for EST/CDT, two hours for MDT, and three for MST/PDT). Any timeslots emptied by the above time-shifting of shows are filled by use of local programming.

Current daytime schedule
Talk show yellow, local programming light gray, daytime drama green. Some stations (e.g. KOMO-TV in Seattle) shift all the times earlier one hour (from 10:00 to 15:00) to allow for local programming starting at 3 pm.
