Sir Eric Campbell Geddes (26 September 1875-22 June 1937) was a Conservative British politician. During the First World War he was successively Minister of Munitions, Inspector-General of Transportation, Controller of the Navy and finally First Lord of the Admiralty. After the war he controversially implemented the government policies of heavy cuts in public expenditure which became known as the Geddes Axe. His brother Sir Auckland Geddes was also a politician of the period.
