Brat Camp is a reality TV show that chronicles five or six weeks in the lives of seven misbehaved teenagers. The American version premiered on ABC on July 13, 2005.
Critics of the American version contend that the show lacks diversity as all the troubled youth happen to be Caucasian (or White). This runs counter to the current trend of reality TV shows that try to be diverse as possible. Other critics point out that the show paints a picture that only Caucasian children are bratty.
